So you know how in GOTDragon’s Ser Crispy ass can’t get over the fact Rhenerya didn’t run off to live in poverty with him after some mediocre sex?? Armand is giving that vibe when he speaks of Lestat. Like…in this scene Lestat is just being an EXCELLENT Harlequin. He’s a showman and natural entertainer…nothing at all to to with him being a vampire, but Armand jumps right to…he uses his vampire powers in front of humans meeeehhh….

I mean, most of us know that this isn't the truth either, right? Still a memory of Lestat, scripted on a stage, under the influence of Armand... We all know, right, that this isn't the full truth either. Is anyone really believing that Lestat, LESTAT would be fighting this hard to uphold rules, fake laws. Really?!! Lestat, the Brat Prince himself, telling anyone that they can't do something because they must follow the RULES. Louis saying "I don't care" and Lestat being the one to yell "you must care", like... come on. Now I'm in no way saying it's all BS, I think some of it has to come from truth, but there's so much of it that's just very intentionally made up, nonsense. Like we're supposed to be squinting at it and being like 'something is not quite right here'. Louis begging Lestat and then trying to turn her himself, I definitely can believe, but Louis trying to seduce Lestat like a cartoon jesabelle, or a siren or succubus. Come on. Does it not fall too much in line with how they were trying to paint Louis at the trial. And there's so much of this, of what Lestat says, that sound more like something Lestat would be thinking to himself. Or something Armand would say... He didn't tell them about Paris, or this coven or Marius, or the "great laws", so why would he be like 'Louis you have to follow these made up laws, that you have no idea about'. Makes no sense. The "you'll love her, and it will spiral beyond your reach" is a great line, but something that also sounds like he'd say to himself, not Louis. "You will regret this for the rest of your life" also something that Lestat would be saying to himself, hell even something I could see Armand saying. "Because I knew the wisdom of the great laws" 🤣🤣 No sir, just no. I will not be believing, that Lestat de Lioncourt would believe that, or even say it of his own will, in any reality. So much of it just screams Armand bs.
